In conjunction with His Majesty the Sultan's 60th Birthday celebrations, the Brunei Post Office has issued stamps in commemoration of the occasion and unveiled them yesterday at the Taman Sir Omar Ali Saifuddien.
There are six different designs that will be sold at 60 cents each.
A set costs $3.60 and the First Day Cover is priced 45 cents.
There is also a special limited edition stamp costing $260.00 a piece, of which only 3,000 have been printed.
According to Hjh Saidah Kahar Acting Head of the Brunei Post office's Philatelic Unit, and Assistant Head Rubiah Hj Masri, the stamps were designed with four different concepts in mind: religion, education, economy and defence.
