Crown Prince visits MIPR sectors, project sites in Belait and Tutong

His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, made working visits to departments and project sites under the Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources (MIPR) in Belait and Tutong districts yesterday morning to observe the development of local industry towards a competitive and self-sustaining economy in the country,

The working visit yesterday is a continuation of His Royal Highness's working visit to departments under the ministry. He first visited the Brunei Forestry Centre in Sungai Liang and later toured advanced facilities in the center's National Herbarium or BRUN located within the centre's complex.

From Sungai Liang, His Royal Highness proceeded to the bus transportation service at PRIMET cooperative company in Kg Telisai Tutong.

Later, His Royal Highness visited the 495-hectare Phase II Telisai site for prawn breeding under the Fisheries Department and then a project site in Tutong and later to Sabli Food Industries Sdn Bhd and ATH Garments Sdn Bhd in Tutong Serambangun Industrial Complex.

His Royal Highness in the afternoon performed Zuhur prayers at Masjid Hassanal Bolkiah in Tutong town before a last visit to a chicken rearing farm in Kg Luagan Timbaran, Mukim Kiudang in Tutong District. (21st Dec 2006)
