His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam last Friday consented to express his condolences to the family of the late Dato Paduka Awang Haji Sulaiman bin Haji Ismail, Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office, at his residence in Kampong Tanah Jambu, Brunei-Muara District.
Dato Paduka Haji Sulaiman passed away last Friday, December 15 and was laid to rest on the same day.
Dato Paduka Awg Sulaiman began his service with His Majesty's government in 1982.
He was appointed as Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office on January 24, 2003 and was promoted to Permanent Secretary on May 20, 2005.
Dato Paduka Sulaiman also held the post of Deputy Secretary in the Cabinet Ministers Council from 1998.
