His Royal Highness General Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince; Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and General of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah, Friday consented to attend a High Tea Reception in conjunction with His Royal Highness’s 32nd birthday anniversary. The function was hosted by the Royal Brunei Armed Forces. His Royal Highness was born on 17th February 1974 at the Istana Darul Hana.
Their Royal Highnesses were welcomed on arrival at the Officers’ Mess of the Royal Brunei Navy Headquarters in Muara by the Deputy Minister of Defence, Retired Colonel Pehin Dato Paduka Haji Mohamad Yasmin and by the Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Major General Pehin Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi, Permanent Secretaries and Deputy Permanent Secretaries at the Prime Minister’s Office and the Ministry of Defence. His Royal Highness Prince Abdul Malik was also present.
At the reception, His Royal Highness consented to cut a birthday cake and receive a pasambah (gift) presented by Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces. Doa kesyukuran to bless the occasion was read by the Senior Religious Officer at the Ministry of Defence, Awang Haji Ruslan bin Haji Sulaiman. His Royal Highness subsequently consented to receive greetings from those present.
