Royal congratulatory messages to Norway

His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send congratulatory messages to His Majesty King Herald V, the King of the Kingdom of Norway and Mr Jens Stoltenberg, the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Norway on the occasion of the Constitution Day of the Kingdom of Norway.

In his message, His Majesty expressed his satisfaction that relations between Brunei Darussalam and the Kingdom of Norway have developed from strength to strength. His Majesty believed that these relations between the two countries will be further strengthened in many years to come at the bilateral and multilateral levels.

His Majesty also hoped that His Majesty King Herald V, the King of Norway would always remain in good health and happiness and for the people of the Kingdom of Norway to always enjoy continued progress and prosperity.

At the same time, in a similar congratulatory message to Mr Jens Stoltenberg, the Prime Minister of Norway, His Majesty congratulated Mr Stoltenberg and the Government and People of the Kingdom of Norway on the occasion of their Constitution Day.

His Majesty expressed his satisfaction with the warm and friendly relations that have been long established between the two countries. His Majesty also expressed his wish that this will be maintained and enhanced in the future for the mutual benefit of the two countries and peoples. His Majesty also wished the Norwegian Prime Minister his continued health and happiness and for the prosperity of the people of the Kingdom of Norway.

In a separate congratulatory message on the occasion of the Constitution Day of the Kingdom of Norway, His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, sent his congratulations and best wishes to Mr Jonas Gahr Store, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway, and to the Government and the People of the Kingdom of Norway.

His Royal Highness also sent his respects to His Majesty King Herald V and the royal family.

His Royal Highness expressed his appreciation for the friendly relations between the two countries and looked forward to continuing their work together, and to enhance them as bilateral and regional partners. - Borneo Bulletin (17th May 2006)
