His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, yesterday afternoon consented to receive in audience Pengiran Dato Haji Maidin bin Pengiran Haji Hashim, High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to the United Kindgom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland; Dr. Haji Emran bin Bahar, Permanent Representative of Brunei Darussalam to the United Nations in New York; Pehin Datu Inderasugara Brigadier General (rtd) Dato Haji Mohammad Yusof bin Abu Bakar, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to the Union of Myanmar; and Pengiran Hajah Basmillah binti Pengiran Haji Abbas, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to Cambodia.
The newly appointed High Commissioner, Permanent Representative and Ambassadors received their letters of credential from His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam on March 7.
Pengiran Dato Haji Abu Bakar, Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister's office, was also present during the audience ceremony that was held at the Istana Nurul Iman.
