His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam last night hosted a royal banquet in honour of the monarch's 60th birthday celebration at Istana Nurul Iman.
Also present were Her Majesty Raja Isteri Pg Anak Hjh Saleha, Her Royal Highness Pg Isteri Azrinaz Mazhar binti Hakim Mazhar, His Royal Highness Prince Hj Al-Muhtadee Billah the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah, His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah and Her Royal Highness Pg Anak Isteri Pg Anak Hjh Zariah as well as members of the Royal Family.
Special guests from overseas and distinguished guests were also invited to the royal banquet. They include Philippines President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, Singapore's Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, Thailand's Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra, Cambodia's Prime Minister Samdech Hun Sen, Her Highness Princess Basmah Al-Turki of Jordan, Malaysia's Deputy Prime Minister Dato Seri Najib Tun Razak and Indonesia's Foreign Minister Hassan Wirayuda.
