His Majesty has consented to send congratulatory messages to Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II, the Queen of the Kingdom of Denmark and Anders Fogh Rasmussen, the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Denmark, on the occasion of the birthday anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II.
In his message, His Majesty expressed his satisfaction with the warm and friendly relations and deep understanding that have so long been established between Brunei Darussalam and the Kingdom of Denmark.
His Majesty hoped that this would be maintained and enhanced in the future for the good of the two countries and people. His Majesty also hoped that Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II, the Queen of Denmark would always remain in good health and happiness and for the people of the Kingdom of Denmark to always enjoy continued progress and prosperity.
In a similar congratulatory message, His Majesty congratulated Anders Fogh Rasmussen, the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Denmark, and the government and people of the Kingdom of Denmark on the occasion of the birthday anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II.
His Majesty expressed his satisfaction with the warm and friendly relations that have been long established between the two countries. His Majesty also expressed his wish that this will be maintained and enhanced in the future for the mutual benefit of the two countries and peoples.
His Majesty also wished the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Denmark his continued good health and happiness and prosperity for the people of the Kingdom of Denmark.
Meanwhile, in a separate message, HRH Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, has conveyed yesterday a congratulatory message to Per Stig Moller, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Kingdom of Denmark, on the occasion of the birthday of Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II, the Kingdom of Denmark.
HRH Prince Mohamed Bolkiah said " I have great pleasure in presenting my warmest respects to Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II and the Royal Family, together with my congratulations and best wishes to you and the government and people of Denmark on the birthday of Her Majesty.
"I look forward to continuing our work in the coming year to enhance our countries' friendship and cooperation," he said.
