A full-dress rehearsal for the Get-Together in the Tutong District in conjunction with His Majesty and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's 60th Birthday was held yesterday.
Present during the rehearsal were Head of Royal Protocol and Customs Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Aziz, Grand Chamberlain YAM Pengiran Penggawa Laila Bentara Istiadat Diraja Dalam Istana Pengiran Hj Alauddin, Minister of Home Affairs Pehin Dato Awang Haji Adanan, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Pehin Dato Awang Haji Dani, and Tutong District Officer Awang Abdul Mutalib bin Haji Mohd Idris.
Some 1,000 participants, comprising Tutong residents, students and members of associations, took part in the rehearsal at the Community Hall Field.
A new monument at the Tutong District will be unveiled by His Majesty at the get-together which is scheduled to be held on July 17.
His Majesty will also visit a special exhibition at the Dewan Seri Kenangan of the Community Hall in Tutong.
