Two secondary schools in the Brunei-Muara District were yesterday taken by surprise by His Majesty's unannounced morning visit.
The monarch first visited Sayyidina Hussain Secondary School in Jerudong, before heading to Sayyidina Hassan Secondary School in Jln Ban 5, Kilanas.
During the surprise visit, His Majesty mingled with the students and school staff, made enquiries on the infrastructure as well as the subjects taught at the respective schools.
The schools' equipment storage area and electrical substations were also topics of discussion during the visit.
The surprise visit concluded in the afternoon.
