His Royal Highness Prince Hj Al-Muhtadee Billah, The Crown Prince and the Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, will visit Vietnam from March 20-22 at the invitation of Vice President Truong My Hoa, Vietnamese Foreign Ministry's spokesperson Le Dung said, which was confirmed by the Vietnam Embassy in Brunei.
VNA reported yesterday that this is the first official visit to Vietnam by HRH The Crown Prince, although His Royal Highness visited Ho Chih Minh City as a billiards player during the 22nd SEA Games in 2003.
The visit is aimed at enhancing the relationship between Vietnamese leaders and Brunei's Royal Family, and promoting bilateral friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
The two sides will discuss cooperative measures in trade, investment, education and training, security, defence and sports.
HRH The Crown Prince is scheduled to hold talks with Vice President Truong My Hoa and call on President Tran Duc Luong and Prime Minister, Phan Van Khai.
