His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send a congratulatory message to His Excellency Mahmoud Ahmedinejad, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the occasion of the National Day of the Republic.
In his message, His Majesty expressed his satisfaction with the warm and friendly relations and deep understanding that have so long been established between Brunei Darussalam and the Islamic Republic of Iran. His Majesty hopes that this would be maintained and enhanced in the future for the good of the two countries and also the people of both nations. His Majesty also prays to Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala that His Excellency Mahmoud Ahmedinejad, The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran will always remain in good health and happiness and the people of Islamic Republic of Iran too will always enjoy continued progress and prosperity.
Meanwhile His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade also sent a congratulatory message to His Iranian counterpart, His Excellency Manouchehr Mottaki on the occasion of the National Day of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
In his message, His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah expresses his Congratulation and best wishes to His Excellency and the government and people of Iran on their National Day. His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah also wishes more success in the coming year and looking forward to further develop opportunities and also to enhance friendship and cooperation between Brunei Darussalam and Iran.
