A thanksgiving ceremony was held yesterday afternoon by officers and personnel of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces in conjunction with the 31st birthday anniversary of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince General Pg. Muda Hj Al-Muhtadee Billah.

The ceremony was held at the Surau of the Bolkiah Garrison of the Ministry of Defence.

Also present were Pehin Datu Inderasugara Brigadier General Dato Paduka Hj Mohammad Yusof, Acting Commander of the Armed Forces, Awg Hj Mohd Said, Acting Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Defence, deputy permanent secretaries, and senior government officers.

The ceremony began with the Maghrib prayer, followed by the reading of Surah Yasin, Tahlil and thanksgiving prayer and the Isya prayer. The prayer was led by Hj Ajis Hj Samad, Imam of the Surau. - Borneo Bulletin
